Vein & Vascular Services

Vascular Service Overview

Vascular Services focus on detecting circulation problems early and correcting them with image-guided, nonsurgical therapy. Screening includes abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound, ankle-brachial index testing to compare leg and arm pressures, arterial duplex of the legs to map blockages, carotid duplex imaging to evaluate stroke risk, and renal ultrasound for kidney-related vascular disease.

For treatable obstruction, our Endovascular Services restore healthy blood flow without open surgery. In our comfortable outpatient cath lab, most procedures use a tiny skin puncture and anesthesia. Dr. Vakili performs balloon angioplasty to widen narrowed arteries, places stents when support is needed, and uses atherectomy to remove hardened plaque; intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) guides precision at every step.

These therapies relieve claudication, improve wound healing, and lower future risk, with most patients returning home the same day. From diagnosis through follow-up, the goal is simple: relieve symptoms, protect limbs, and help you stay active with safer, faster recovery.
