shi shim2024-03-14I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the exceptional care provided by Dr. Babak Alex Vakili and his office staff. Dr. Babak Alex Vakili not only demonstrated profound expertise in cardiology but also showed genuine compassion towards my dad's condition. His prompt diagnosis and effective treatment undoubtedly saved my dad's life. Moreover, his office staff were incredibly kind and professional, making the entire experience seamless and comforting. Thanks to Dr. Babak Alex Vakili and his team, we still have our dad with us today. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Babak Alex Vakili to anyone in need of a cardiologist; he truly is the best doctor ever.Sam Walker2023-11-17I’ve been a patient of Dr Vakili for twenty years. Samuel WalkerPhilosopher2023-10-27Updating my review: -They are able to schedule you very quick unlike other cardiologist offices. -My last visit I did not feel rushed I felt listened to it was about 30 minutes he spend reviewing blood work, tests and making a game plan -Seeing him for long covid heart palpitations so it's a learning experience -Office staff seem friendly enough look like young college age kids, dress very casual -Only drawback is very small lobby/ waiting room when busy. Con: -You can't ask to speak to someone on the phone for any medical question like a nurse or doctor you must come in for any questions. -The tech that did Echo not the friendliest guy in the world but it's not a deal breaker. Just wish he did small talk it was awkward.Wayne Spoon2023-10-18Nice, efficient, professional and trusted.F I2023-10-15The BEST Doctors In Orlando!!! Friendly, Knowledgeable,,Caring!!Alex D2023-09-18Dr. Vakili has been treating my father, Miguel for 22 years and has always been courteous and respectful. Honestly, he is the only Dr. my father will see. From his entire family, thank you Dr. Vakili for always taking (and sometimes making) the time to speak to my father!!!Mark2023-09-14Review of Dr. B. Alex Vakili, M.D. in Longwood, FL As a 60-year-old Type 1 diabetic (47years), I was concerned about the damage that my condition had caused to my vascular system. When I saw Dr. Vakili for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, expertise, and bedside manner. Dr. Vakili took the time to listen to my concerns and explain my treatment options in a way that I could really understand. He also made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process, even though I was nervous about having surgery. Dr. Vakili performed two stent procedures to restore blood flow to my legs, which were previously at 50% flow each. I had previously seen other cardiac/vascular surgeons in Daytona, but they were not concerned about my leg blood flows. Dr. Vakili was very careful about the amount of dye he used during the procedures to minimize kidney problems, which is important for diabetics. I am now amazed at how much better my legs and feet feel. I have minimal pain and discomfort, and I am able to walk and move around with ease and improved sensitivity. I highly recommend Dr. Vakili to anyone looking for a skilled and experienced cardiologist or vein and vascular specialist. He is truly a valuable asset to the Orlando community. I hope this helps!Lisa Thorell2023-09-11Top-Notch Results-Oriented Vascular Specialist As a person with vascular issues (varicose veins), I have been seeing Dr. Vakili for over two years. My first concern was whether there was anything pathological with my heart or cardiovascular system underlying the vein problem. Luckily, it was a Big No on that; his cardiovascular expertise was key here. He recommended a combination of radiofrequency ablation and sclerotherapy (all minimally invasive) to treat the varicose veins. He truly exceeded my expectations, eliminating 90% of my “restless leg” symptoms as well as dramatically improving my leg appearance. (You can watch the veins disappear on your legs while he is working!) Dr. Vakili's staff also deliver: Nicole, Gabby, and Say offer the friendliest, most helpful services I’ve received in a doctor’s office. Net net: If you have varicose vein issues and/or suffer from restless leg syndrome (those are your leg veins “talking” to you btw), I’d highly recommend Dr. Vakili. You will feel better and your legs will look rejuvenated. Double-header, sports fans!!
