Elisa is ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with special interest in Cardiovascular Medicine. She has a strong background in Cardiology ranging from cardiovascular intensive care to outpatient cath lab procedures.

She graduated Cum Laude Honors with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Minor in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Elisa continued to work as a registered nurse in the Cardiovascular Cath Lab and procedures unit as she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing with Honors from Simmons College in Boston Massachusetts. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

She describes herself as a “Nurse by Personality” and believes a great relationship between the provider and patient is key to enhancing patient outcomes and decreasing rates of exacerbation. She works collaboratively with Dr. Vakili on a daily basis to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
